Role Description Robo is seeking an exceptional
Mobile Architect & Developer
to join our team and drive the technical vision for a best-in-class, customer-facing IoT application for a major client. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of connected experiences by building innovative features that make owning and operating complex products easier and more enjoyable.
You’ll be embedded with a world-class team, contributing to one of the most advanced connected product solutions in its industry. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll spend approximately
50% of your time on architectural design and 50% on active development , while directing and mentoring a team of 2 developers.
This is a hybrid role located in Wixom, MI. While some work from home is acceptable, the role requires regular in‑person collaboration for architecture sessions and hands‑on testing with connected products at our Wixom lab facility.

Qualifications
8+ years of professional mobile app development experience.
Strong native mobile app development experience (iOS and Android).
Expert‑level proficiency with the React Native framework.
Deep understanding of Bluetooth connectivity and pairing technologies.
Experience with Azure cloud platform and API integration.
Ability to manage asynchronous hardware states and synchronize them with the UI in real‑time.
Willingness to work hybrid/on‑site in Wixom, MI, to test code against physical hardware prototypes.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
Strong architectural thinking and ability to design scalable solutions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience leading development teams.
Background in the automotive or specialty vehicle industry.
Experience with IoT and connected vehicle technologies.
Familiarity with remote vehicle monitoring and control systems.
Experience building customer‑facing mobile applications at scale.
