Job Overview
A General Manager at a McDonald’s corporate‑owned restaurant is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role sets goals with leadership, plans to achieve them, and leads a team of Department Managers.
Responsibilities
Set and achieve the restaurant’s goals in partnership with leadership.
Lead and coach Department Managers, helping them set goals, track progress, and improve their units.
Help hire and develop Department and Shift Managers.
Ensure adherence to McDonald’s quality, service and cleanliness standards.
Drive profitability and operational efficiency across the restaurant.
Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations.
Background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality or retail strongly desired.
Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned restaurants.
