Digital Director Reporting to the VP of Marketing & Digital, this role leads TRC’s digital delivery team—including the Digital Product Content Manager and Digital Designer—ensuring platform performance, content, and design excellence work together to deliver a seamless commerce experience for trade and residential clients.

This leader turns business requirements into actionable roadmaps, driving measurable improvements in speed, SEO, and conversion through strong technical and commercial execution.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee performance and reliability of TRC’s BigCommerce platform and its integrations (SAP, CRM, Pipedrive), resolving issues such as broken links, missing products, navigation, and page speed inefficiencies.

Define and deliver prioritized digital roadmaps, managing external agencies and partners to ensure timelines, budgets, and standards are met.

Partner with IT to ensure robust data flows, integrations, and security across all systems.

E-Commerce Optimization

Drive conversion rate optimization across B2B and B2C channels through enhanced search, dynamic pricing, catalog visibility, and transactional functionality.

Implement ongoing SEO and site hygiene improvements, using analytics to track performance and identify opportunities.

Use analytics tools to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Execution & Delivery

Translate business goals into clear digital deliverables, overseeing sprint planning, testing, and QA to ensure smooth deployment.

Maintain transparent reporting on performance, ROI and defined KPIs including conversion, engagement and trade activation.

Manage the digital P&L, forecasting revenue, cost efficiency and ROI from all digital initiatives.

Brand, Content & Education

Oversee evolution of site content and storytelling tools that inspire designers, ensuring TRC’s online presence reflects its craftsmanship and design authority.

Cross-Functional & Agency Leadership

Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, and the VP of Marketing & Digital to align digital delivery with brand, trade, and commercial goals.

Lead agencies and cross-functional teams with clarity, accountability and collaboration to achieve quality and value in all digital initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor and develop the Digital Product Content Manager and Digital Designer, fostering a team that balances technical precision, visual design and content excellence.

Cultivate an approachable, team-oriented environment with high accountability and integrity.

Qualifications

6–8 years of digital leadership experience within luxury, interiors, or design sectors; trade or B2B exposure is a strong plus.

Proven ability to lead digital transformation, translating business strategy into platform, content, and process delivery across global teams.

Deep understanding of digital ecosystems (CMS, CRM, ERP) with hands-on experience in e-commerce, re-platforming and technical delivery; BigCommerce experience is a plus.

Analytical and data-driven, using tools such as Google Analytics to measure performance and inform strategic decisions.

Skilled in agency management and cross-functional collaboration across creative, product, and commercial teams.

Confident, decisive leader able to prioritize holistically balancing commercial impact, technical feasibility, and brand integrity.

Salary Salary $140,000
