$130,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr
Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect who will design and architect a comprehensive cloud‑based data warehouse solution that will integrate multiple siloed child safety data sources into a unified platform for our client.
Duties
Develop the overall approach and architecture for the Data Warehouse solution
Design data integration strategies for disparate sources, including unstructured data
Architect the implementation of Common Person ID across all datasets
Design secure, role‑based access controls and a data governance framework
Architect a cloud‑based solution with consideration for Express Route connectivity
Design data lineage, provenance tracking, and audit trail mechanisms
Plan for data encryption at rest and in transit
Ensure architecture meets NYC security standards and SSAP requirements
Provide technical oversight, ensuring adherence to client standards
Review all third‑party tools and architectural decisions
Mandatory Qualifications
10+ years of experience in Data Warehouse and Enterprise Architecture
Proven experience in architecting large‑scale data warehouse solutions (500GB+ databases)
Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Expert knowledge in data integration and ETL/ELT processes
Experience with both structured and unstructured data management
Knowledge of Master Data Management and data matching solutions
Experience designing analytics platforms and BI solutions
Database expertise (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
API design and integration experience
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with Azure Synapse, Snowflake, or Informatica
Government project experience, preferably NYC
Knowledge of SAML, MFA, and identity management
Experience with AI/ML model integration
Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
Experience with NYC security standards and SSAP process
