Job Summary Under direction, ensures the academic integrity of standardized testing conditions and security of test materials for exams administered to medical students.
Responsibilities
Set up and verify functionality of digital testing devices and secure exam software
Monitor exam sessions using technology tools to ensure compliance with security protocols
Troubleshoot technical issues related to devices, software, and connectivity during exams
Maintain integrity of electronic test materials and ensure proper submission of responses
Ensures there is no talking or cheating during examinations
Prevent or minimize any disturbances to examinees during the examination
Minimum Qualifications Preferences
Experience with digital testing platforms and secure browsers
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues on tablets, laptops, and related software
Familiarity with basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting
Reliability and punctuality are a must
Availability early mornings and afternoons on weekdays
Ability to troubleshoot issues associated with the Apple iPad and related software
If already employed with the University of Utah, must be working only 15 hours per week or less
Special Instructions Summary Additional Information The University is a participating employer with Utah Retirement Systems (“URS”). Eligible new hires with prior URS service, may elect to enroll in URS if they make the election before they become eligible for retirement (usually the first day of work).
