Engineer V, SR-26D ($6,535 per month) to SR-26L ($8,945 per month), Honolulu, Oahu.
*The starting salary may be at a rate between the minimum to maximum salary range listed above, based on qualifications.
The Engineer V performs difficult professional engineering work in coordinating the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of major and complex projects; prepares and coordinates the preparation of designs, plans, specifications, estimates and reports; and performs other duties as required. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with engineers, architects, contractors, administrative officials and the general public.
Education Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in engineering work which satisfies the requirements of the State of Hawaii’s Board of Professional Engineers, Architects, Surveyors, and Landscape Architects.
Specialized Experience One year of registered professional engineering experience.
License Requirements
A valid and current driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
A valid State of Hawaii Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Professional Engineer license at the time of application.
