Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help architect, build, and scale the next evolution of the Cortex platform. This role is ideal for a seasoned technologist who thrives at the intersection of logistics and innovation—someone who can translate complex trucking workflows into elegant, distributed applications powered by modern AI and cloud technologies. You will be hands‑on in full‑stack development, API integration, and cloud architecture, while also mentoring junior developers and guiding 3rd‑party vendor or partner resource teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain distributed applications for the Cortex TMS platform

Lead heavy API integration projects to connect carriers, shippers, and partners seamlessly

Apply advanced design patterns (especially in C#) to build scalable, maintainable systems

Drive code quality through rigorous reviews and best practices

Collaborate with product and logistics experts to translate trucking workflows into technical solutions

Mentor junior engineers and provide leadership to offshore or 3rd‑party development teams

Innovate with AI developer tools (Agentic AI, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance platform intelligence

Architect solutions leveraging AWS or Azure cloud services for performance and reliability

Requirements Required Skills & Experience

Senior‑level full‑stack engineering expertise with proven track record

10+ years of strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server

Front‑end mastery with TypeScript, React, Angular

Deep experience in cloud development (AWS or Azure)

Expertise in distributed applications and scalable architecture

Heavy experience with API integration and interoperability

Familiarity with AI developer tool stacks and applied AI in enterprise software

Exceptional knowledge of design patterns and software architecture principles

Strong communication and mentorship skills for guiding diverse teams

Solid experience conducting and leading code reviews

Salary:

$100,000 to $150,000
