About British Swim School

British Swim School is a nationwide provider of survival and stroke development swim lessons with an enhanced focus on a gentle, fun, and progressive aquatics program. We are looking for fun‑loving individuals to join our award‑winning team of swim instructors in the Northern East Bay Area. Our mission is to prevent accidental drownings by teaching children and adults, in a fun way, how to swim and enjoy the water safely.

Qualifications

• You need to be a swimmer – ideally you have an understanding of all four strokes and an appreciation for the water.
• Love working with children and seeing them progress.
• Upbeat and ready to enjoy having fun at work – having fun is mandatory.
• This is a year‑round indoor position, and we are looking for longer‑term employees.
• Can work weekend mornings 8:45 am–1:30 pm.
• Can work weekdays 2:45 pm–7:30 pm.
• Able to reliably commute to our pool location in Richmond.

Compensation & Rewards

• Pay starts at $18.00/hr.
