Compensation
Salary Range: $22.31 - $28.87 per hour
Salary range represents the lowest and highest possible rate. Placement within the range considers skill, experience, and comparison with other employees. Usually new hires are placed below the midpoint.

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Telemetry Secretary Technician performs the duties of a Telemetry Tech, Nurse Tech, and Unit Secretary as needed to support department operations. Provides continuous EKG monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation. Notifies staff of arrhythmias. Oversees telemetry equipment care and maintenance, reporting problems to the Unit Manager. Provides safe, efficient, therapeutic patient care under nurse supervision. Assists with unit staffing, records medical records, and ensures timely reporting and documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school Diploma or GED
- One (1) year experience in Nursing/Patient Care Assistant duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
- One (1) year experience in Administrative/Unit Secretarial duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Rhythm Recognition Course Certificate
- Successful completion of the CMH Telemetry Technician competency within three (3) months of hire
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
