Orthopedic Surgery Opening Redding, CA Position Type: Full-Time or Part TimeEmployment: Hospital-Employed, Multi-Specialty Group Compensation: $550,000 - $650,000 annually + incentives About the Opportunity: Join a well-established, hospital-owned multi-specialty group in Redding, California, seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon. Position Highlights:General Orthopedic Surgery with opportunity to develop subspecialty interests (sports medicine, joint replacement, trauma, etc.) Schedule: Regular business hours (approx. 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Call: 1:3 to 1:4 (flexible, depending on final team structure) Full-time, part-time, or per diem flexibility available Hospital-employed through a reputable multi-specialty medical group Responsibilities:Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic surgical care Perform procedures such as fracture repair, arthroscopy, joint replacement, and soft tissue reconstruction Participate in call coverage and trauma-related consults as needed Collaborate with hospitalists, physical therapists, and primary care providers for coordinated patient care Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation within the EMR system Compensation & Benefits:Base salary: $550,000-$650,000 annually Production bonus and quality performance incentives Sign-on bonus and relocation allowance Health insurance: Self-funded EPO (HMO) - no cost to provider Retirement plan: 401(k) CME allowance and dedicated CME time Malpractice insurance with tail coverage included About Redding, California: Located in the heart of Northern California, Redding offers stunning natural scenery, year-round outdoor recreation, and a relaxed lifestyle.
