Pay Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)
About the Position
Willis Cosmetic Surgery & MedSpa, led by double board-certified cosmetic and general surgeon Dr. Zachary Willis, is hiring a full-time Surgical Tech / Medical Assistant. This role supports both the surgical and clinical sides of our boutique cosmetic practice. We are looking for someone who is comfortable and confident in the operating room
and
enjoys working directly with patients in a supportive, aesthetic-focused environment. Although two versions of this role may be posted (Surgical Tech / Medical Assistant), we are hiring
one
candidate whose skills and experience best match the needs of the practice. Key Responsibilities
Surgical & Procedural Support
Prepare treatment and surgical suites, ensuring sterile setup and instrument readiness Assist Dr. Willis in surgery by maintaining sterile technique, safely passing instruments, and anticipating needs Support surgical flow and sterile field (suturing experience is a major advantage) Clean, turn over, and restock procedure rooms after each case Clinical & Patient Care
Assist with check-in, intake, vitals, and accurate documentation Prepare patients for surgery or procedures and provide ongoing support Assist with pre- and post-operative care including drain teaching, compression guidance, wound care, and follow-ups Assist providers with injectables, laser treatments, and clinical setups Aesthetic Treatment Support
(after training)
Assist in treatment prep across injectables, laser, and skincare modalities Once trained, perform aesthetic services such as: HydraFacial SkinPen Chemical peels CoolPeel & laser treatments IPL Follow treatment protocols and maintain high patient experience standards Inventory & Clinic Support
Assist in maintaining inventory, stocking, and ordering supplies Support clinic cleanliness, organization, and efficient workflow Qualifications
Surgical Tech certification, CMA/RMA, or equivalent hands-on procedural experience Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR workflow Prior operating room or procedural experience required Suturing experience is a significant advantage BLS certification required Friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused Experience in cosmetic or plastic surgery preferred Schedule
Full-time, in-clinic position Typical arrival:
7:00–7:30 AM Hours vary depending on surgical schedule and patient volume Flexibility required during busy surgical days Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate:
