Position Summary Armavel, LLC is offering an opportunity to be part of a growing, forward-thinking team in an engaging, fast-paced environment. As a SharePoint Developer, you will work closely with a team of Developers and IT professionals to create, troubleshoot, and revamp software systems. Your responsibilities include designing, coding, installing, and maintaining functional programs and applications, as well as performing unit and integration testing. You will evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update, and add new features. This position requires an ACTIVE SECRET clearance (or higher) and is a hybrid role requiring time spent in Norfolk, VA. Responsibilities Install the SharePoint platform, integrate applications, and create libraries. Add users, control access to document libraries, and set permissions. Maintain the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet. Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues or malfunctions. Provide SharePoint support and end-user training. Perform data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss. Ensure sufficient storage space through clean-ups and archiving. Review usage and activity reports, making adjustments for optimal user experience. Maintain network infrastructure, manage encryption, security zones, and firewalls. Keep up to date with SharePoint developments, perform version updates and upgrades. Provide user and content manager training. Create SharePoint user guides, FAQs, and technical documents. Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. At least 4 years of experience as a SharePoint administrator. Experience with SharePoint Online is highly desired. Extensive knowledge of Windows OS (O365) suite. Supporting tools knowledge: Power BI, Power Apps, PowerShell, ULS Logs, workflows, SharePoint forms. Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Minimum Qualifications Experience developing secure code in Government, Healthcare, or Privacy-sensitive environments. Understanding of Cloud Systems Architecture. Knowledge of risk management frameworks like NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, HITRUST, FedRAMP is helpful. Experience with Federal Information Systems and security control assessments is beneficial. Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a US Security Clearance.
