Principal Lead Engineering, Regulatory, Quality and Clinical Affairs
We’re actively partnering with a global leader in life science & clinical diagnostics technology to bring on a Principal, Electrical & Firmware Engineer to drive the next generation of complex, electromechanical diagnostic instruments.
This is a high‑impact, Lead level role for someone who loves being hands‑on with hardware while also guiding architecture, design decisions, and cross‑functional technical execution.
What You’ll Own
Electrical architecture from system requirements → PCBA board‑level design
Schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, board bring‑up, and verification
Lab‑level debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and EMC/ESD tools
Hardware testing at the instrument level for complex diagnostic systems
Leading engineering design reviews, technical documentation, and configuration management
Cross‑functional collaboration with mechanical, firmware, software, and systems teams
What You Bring
10+ years in Electrical Engineering (hands‑on PCB + embedded experience required)
Strong experience with microprocessors/microcontrollers, OrCAD/Altium, mixed‑signal design
Deep understanding of EMI/EMC/ESD troubleshooting
Background in regulated hardware development (medical, life science, lab automation, instrumentation, robotics, or similar capital equipment)
Ability to lead at the technical level while still rolling up your sleeves

Base pay range $180,000.00/yr – $215,000.00/yr
