Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics We’re working with a unicorn robotics company and they’re looking for an Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join a fast-moving team building some of the most advanced robots in the world.
What we’re looking for:
A fast-thinking electrical engineer who enjoys solving complex power-system problems
Someone curious about how complete energy systems work and excited to build reliable hardware from the ground up
Strong experience designing rechargeable battery packs and power distribution systems for real-world products
Proven ability to architect high-efficiency AC-DC charging solutions and understand key converter topologies
Hands‑on expertise with PCB design for power circuits—including protection paths, switching devices, sensing, and grounding strategies
Solid understanding of battery fuel‑gauging, safety features, and balancing for modern Li‑ion systems
Skilled in EMI/EMC‑aware design and familiar with compliance testing for consumer‑grade electronics
Thrives in hands‑on environments and comfortable debugging, validating, and iterating under real load conditions
What you’ll work on:
Own the design of multiple power-related PCBs end-to-end—from schematics and layout to component selection, bring‑up, and failure analysis
Integrate batteries, charging hardware, monitoring circuits, and distribution electronics into a cohesive system
Drive EMI/EMC performance, ensure robustness against transients and back‑EMF, and maintain thermal reliability
Collaborate across hardware and firmware teams to deliver clean, dependable power throughout the product
Move quickly, iterate based on real‑world testing, and ship production-ready power electronics
