Director, Strategic Reporting & Analytics Position Overview: The Director of Strategic Reporting & Analytics leads a team responsible for delivering actionable business insights through advanced analytics, data visualization, and enterprise reporting. This role oversees the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions leveraging Snowflake, Power BI, and Talend. The Director partners with business leaders to drive data‑driven decision‑making and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of critical business metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of data analysts, BI developers, and reporting specialists.

Oversee the architecture, implementation, and optimization of the company’s data warehouse in Snowflake.

Design and deploy interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to support executive, operational, and departmental needs.

Manage and optimize ETL processes using Talend, ensuring efficient data integration from multiple sources, including large legacy enterprise systems.

Address challenges related to data quality, normalization, and consistency, particularly when integrating data from legacy platforms.

Leverage data catalog tools to improve discoverability, governance, and metadata management.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and analytics priorities.

Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are maintained across all reporting and analytics solutions.

Drive continuous improvement in data processes, automation, and self‑service analytics capabilities.

Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables for analytics initiatives.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data warehousing, BI, and analytics.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field (Master’s preferred).

8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Proven expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, Power BI development, and Talend.

Demonstrated experience working with large enterprise legacy systems, including data quality and normalization challenges.

Experience with data catalog tools.

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with data governance, security, and compliance in a cloud environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience in the automotive, distribution, or wholesale industry.

Familiarity with additional analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau).

Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).

Posted Salary Range: USD $160,500.00 - USD $214,500.00 /Yr.
