NURSE PRACTITIONER PRN OCC HEALTH – Johns Hopkins Medicine
Join Johns Hopkins Medicine as a PRN Nurse Practitioner in Employee Occupational Health. This casual/on‑call position primarily supports Suburban Hospital and also supports Sibley Memorial Hospital and Howard County Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, direct, and evaluate employee health care services.
Examine employees to determine ability to perform essential job functions.
Perform selected laboratory testing, offer referrals, write prescriptions, and perform office procedures within scope of practice.
Qualifications
Current licensure as a registered nurse in Maryland, District of Columbia, or Florida.
Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the same jurisdiction.
Minimum 3+ years experience in occupational medicine, emergency department, outpatient or urgent care setting.
Master’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
Accredited NP program in specialty (Adult, Family, Geriatrics, Occupational Medicine).
Preferred certification as Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or COHN-S by ABOHN.
Salary Minimum $68.74 per hour plus an 8% differential.
