The Role We’re looking for a

Director of Engineering

who thrives on zero‑to‑one creation and scale. You’ll lead the engineering function across mobile, backend, and AI — driving architecture, velocity, and culture as we prepare for public launch. You’ll partner directly with our CTO (ex‑Amazon, ex‑Vistaprint) to design the systems and team that power the next era of career discovery. You’ll be hands‑on in the early stages, then grow and lead a world‑class engineering org as we scale.

What You’ll Do

Oversee all engineering execution — mobile, backend, and AI — ensuring speed, quality, and security.

Define and implement engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and performance benchmarks.

Partner with the CTO on architecture decisions for scale and reliability.

Collaborate with Product and Design to deliver elegant, frictionless user experiences.

Recruit and mentor top engineering talent as the team grows.

Play a key role in technical strategy, fundraising, and company direction.

You Bring

7+ years of experience in engineering leadership at fast‑scaling SaaS or consumer tech startups.

Proven track record managing cross‑functional teams (mobile, backend, data/AI).

Strong technical foundation in full‑stack or mobile systems architecture.

Ability to balance speed and structure — you know when to ship and when to refactor.

Passion for shaping product and culture from the ground up.
