HCT seeks an experienced Interim Manager of Clinical Nutrition at a 240+ bed hospital in Bay Area, California. The Manager's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Manages Food & Nutrition Service, implements training programs for Food & Nutrition Services staff, and assures that established policies and procedures and compliance are maintained that govern the provision of dietetic services.
Supervises and provides operational leadership in planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the day to day operational functions.
Responsibilities include the oversight and provision of safe, satisfying and nutritionally adequate food for patients with appropriate staff, space, equipment and supplies.
Oversees human resources activities for the department.
Ensures compliance with county, state and federal regulations and standards.
Ensures patient and customer satisfaction and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient uses of resources.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's: Nutrition, Dietetics or Food Service Management or equivalent education/experience
Certifications: RDN - Registered Dietitian; Serve Safe certified upon hire required
Experience: Minimum of 8 years management, supervisory or team lead experience; minimum of 8 years food service management experience in an acute-care hospital or similar institution required
Computer Skills: Skills with database, application and Microsoft Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car.
