Application Developer

Our client is seeking an Application Developer to work closely with the IT Manager, company leadership, and employee-owners to enhance technology infrastructure through system updates, revisions, customizations, and integrations that improve operational efficiency. Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the IT Manager. Responsibilities / Accountabilities: ERP / CRM / Service / Manufacturing Systems: Become the internal expert in IFS Developer Studio and IFS Build Place DevOps Perform regular service updates Implement system revisions Customize systems using Developer Studio Develop custom events/actions to automate tasks Create and manage workflows Integrate and maintain APIs to enhance system functionality Work closely with Business Analysts to support development needs in IFS Support the IT Manager with input for annual budget planning Collaborate respectfully with management and coworkers Adhere to all current Information Security policies, including proper handling of confidential and internal data Participate in annual and topic-specific Information Security training Actively seek out opportunities for personal and professional growth Assist in additional responsibilities as needed Maintain a strong commitment to safety policies and practices Requirements: Skills / Knowledge: Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms Familiarity with best practices in software engineering, including version control, testing, and agile methodologies Database management experience, especially with PL/SQL Experience with UI toolkits and user interface development frameworks Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Power BI Excellent problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Collaborative and team-oriented mindset Strong organizational and time management abilities High attention to detail Commitment to continuous learning and growth Ability to take direction and work effectively with leadership Personal Attributes: Honest, confidential, and trustworthy Embraces a service-oriented approach with colleagues and clients Creative and innovative thinker Strong sense of ownership and accountability toward company and client objectives Team-first mentality with a focus on shared success Posting Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may be substituted) Experience with ERP & CRM systems, particularly cloud-based platforms Experience updating and creating system databases/repositories Familiarity with GIT and updating systems through version control Ability to read and modify source code Minimum of 2 years in a development role Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications Occasional travel to other facilities as required Seniority level
