Overview Senior Vice Presidents of Business Development shape the current and future strategy of Razorfish’s growth. They provide a focused view of all North America opportunities and prioritize pursuits based on value and return. They drive guidelines and best practices for casting, process, product, and pricing, engaging external stakeholders, partners, and prospects alongside the North America Leadership Team. This role creates a favorable sales environment by engaging in industry events and demand‑gen activities and works with the Chief Growth Officer to forge strategic alliances with outside agencies and competitors. The SVP works closely with discipline leads and marketing teams to define Razorfish’s market positioning and identify blank‑space opportunities to generate demand.
Responsibilities
Set growth targets alongside leadership and finance teams at Razorfish and Publicis Groupe levels, communicating goals and rationale to stakeholders.
Create frameworks and processes to establish efficient sales operations, reevaluating the Business Development team structure yearly.
Represent Razorfish at Publicis Digital Experience and Publicis Groupe‑wide town halls and strategic meetings.
Prioritize and lead all new‑business pursuits for Razorfish, focused on their assigned region, responsible for pursuing and attaining all tracks of net new revenue.
Have a proven record of engaging and growing an agency’s roster and revenue with C‑level and senior executives in digital marketing, marketing transformation, technology, or integrated marketing for standout brands.
Position solutions driving holistic change from front‑stage customer experience to back‑stage operations, demonstrating business‑development financial rigor, smart prospecting, pursuit prioritization, tailored marketing strategy, pitch optimization, narrative crafting, win‑or‑learn mindset, progress tracking, and a culture of aggressive growth.
Drive end‑to‑end pursuit process for large, complex, or Power‑of‑One pursuits.
Attain 100% of the net‑new regional growth goal.
Generate net‑new top‑line revenue to meet regional and national growth targets.
Qualifications
15+ years of experience in Client Services, New Business, or similar field, including agency experience.
Deep experience in media pitches and new business.
Experience navigating holding company or large, matrixed organizations.
Experience partnering with practice leads to co‑develop GTM strategies, positioning, and more.
Strategic growth leadership experience, driving the pitch narrative forward throughout the process.
Ability to travel (10%).
