Description Anesthesiologist opportunity in Syracuse, NY at Specialists One-Day Surgery Center. Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center is a locally owned, state‑of‑the‑art orthopedic ambulatory surgery center that provides a range of procedures including knee arthroscopy, lumbar and cervical injections, carpal tunnel release, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair and joint replacement. The center offers a collegial, team‑oriented environment and a quick, streamlined credentialing process.
Shift & Case Assignments Weekday only 10‑hour shifts. No weekends or calls required. Case assignments primarily orthopedic.
Team Leadership: Michael Fine, Chief Anesthesiologist. Staff work in a care‑team model.
Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
Medical management of patients rendered unconscious or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other procedures.
Pre‑anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent.
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
Induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
Monitor patient physiological condition.
Perform clinical interventions as needed.
Requirements
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
ECFMG and FLEX certification.
Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.
Currently licensed as a physician.

Total Rewards
Salary: $450k
