Valley-Wide is an approved site with the Colorado Health Service Corps and National Health Service Corps loan repayment programs. Dentists are eligible to apply and may be awarded up to $120,000.00 for providing care in our rural communities.
We are looking for a Dentist in our Valley-Wide Buena Vista clinic located in Buena Vista, CO. As a Dentist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a diverse patient population, building strong relationships and delivering personalized care that addresses both immediate and long-term goals. From pediatric to geriatric patients, you will have the opportunity to care for individuals across the lifespan, ensuring continuity of care for families and fostering a sense of community.
Job Responsibilities
Provide emergency care for patients during designated walk-in hours or as needed.
Provide care in general dentistry including diagnosis, preventive dentistry, operative dentistry, periodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery. Refer patients as needed.
Diagnose dental conditions and plan oral health care in consultation with patients.
Develop treatment plans for patients consistent with ADA Guidelines.
Participate with Student Externship and Residency Program, overseeing and mentoring students including cosigning charts.
Participate in evaluation process for Support Staff, Hygienist, Dental Assistants, and Dental Students/Residents.
Complete clinical admin duties, peer review, documentation and any other necessary activities for comprehensive patient care.
Provide dental services at assigned locations; travel may be required.
