Key Responsibilities
Provide warranty approvals for engine repairs to dealership technicians
Record, track, and manage technical inquiries in the Technical Assistance Database
Investigate and analyze vehicle specifications and system operations to resolve inquiries and validate service publications
Prepare trend analysis and technical reports from the database
Offer technical assistance to parts department hotline and technical personnel
Collaborate with dealership teams to ensure consistent application of service procedures

Requirements
5+ years of experience as an automobile service technician
Dealership technician experience required
Two-year technical degree in vocational/automotive technology or equivalent experience preferred
Multiple ASE certifications desired; Master ASE certification preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical systems and OBD II emission systems
Proficiency in computer word processing and database programs
