Coil Processing Specialist I

Must pass drug test and background check This posting is for New Century, Kansas AM Shift - M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm Production Read/understand work orders Ensure all proper guarding is on machine before and after use Determine speed and adjust machine stop/guides to specific length as needed to complete order Position material in coil form on coil cart Measure sheet dimensions using a calibrated; tape measure, micrometer and caliper Operate and cut metal to specified dimensions Package, tag and store in finished area Complete paperwork Perform machine visual inspections Perform material visual inspections Perform Quality Assurance checks Scrap material Assist other employees as needed Performs other duties as assigned Safety Observe all company safety rules Wear appropriate Personal Protective equipment: steel toe boots, hard hats, safety, glasses, gloves and arm guards Participate in company training on Safety, Hazard Communication, Bloodborne pathogens, accident reporting and others Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
