Job Description KPFF provides civil and structural engineering services to architects, government agencies, developers, contractors, and institutional clients. Our Greater Los Angeles Structural office has two locations – Downtown Los Angeles and Irvine Towers, Orange County. We are dedicated to growing with our employees and allowing people to pursue their passions.

2 weeks of vacation annually, with seniority‑based accruals.
2 weeks of personal and sick time.
KPFF contributes 3% of your base salary to your 401(k) regardless of your contribution.
Paid Family Leave: 60% of base salary for up to 6 weeks during a rolling 12‑month period.
40‑hour work schedule, Monday through Friday.

Semi‑annual bonuses.

Non‑exempt position; overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half.
Pay Range $36–$38.50 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
Part of an administrative team reporting to the Office Manager.
Perform tasks alongside other administrative members to serve office needs.
Act as primary point of contact for office matters and knowledge.
Manage project documents for multiple projects: creation, editing, printing, shipping.
Organize and log Construction Administration documents.
Assist Project Managers with planning, coordination, and organization tasks.
Coordinate presenter needs for in‑person and virtual events.
Ensure cleanliness of office spaces and maintain office kitchen equipment.
Assist in project closure to ensure compliance with KPFF archiving policy.
Coordinate travel needs and food orders for meetings.
Other miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications The ideal candidate has experience in the engineering or construction industry, assisted in Construction Administration tasks, and is organized, flexible, and dedicated to excellent service.
3 years of full‑time experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or Coordinator with a high school diploma.
3 years of full‑time Project Coordinator experience in construction or engineering is highly preferred.
Clear and professional communication in all modes.
Must work in the Downtown Los Angeles office during 8 AM–5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Highly competent with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams 365, SharePoint, PDF editing (Bluebeam Revu), and office machines.
Competent in proofing and quality control.
Comfortable making independent judgment calls appropriate to experience.
Experience with third‑party software such as Procore or ProjectSight is preferred.
