Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently, following traffic laws and regulations, and adhering to hours‑of‑service requirements

Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured, and managing paperwork related to shipments

Collect delivery instructions from dispatcher, verifying instructions and routes

Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, report maintenance issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks

Communicate with dispatchers and customers, maintain accurate trip logs, and document deliveries

Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

Transport non‑hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and company safety procedures

Perform industrial work and biohazard cleanups and assist in the removal of soil, debris, and spill‑site cleanup

Other duties as assigned

Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of company offerings and products as well as industry regulations

Education and Experience

CDL Class A License

Hazmat Endorsement

Tanker Endorsement

Ability to read, write and do mathematics

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to talk and hear

Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times

Frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds

Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders; may occasionally deal with heights

Ability to wear personal equipment, including respiratory protection

Consists of both office setting and physical job site; able to work in confined spaces when needed
