Huron’s Restructuring & Turnaround team provides comprehensive solutions to companies and their management teams, lenders, other creditors and stakeholders facing challenges driven by micro‑and/or macro‑economic events. The focus is on understanding and managing a company’s liquidity in order to preserve value while identifying key areas for improvement and risk‑mitigation to maximize enterprise value.

Responsibilities As a Manager you will specialize in areas that showcase your expertise while pursuing your career vision. You will lead engagements, manage projects and clients, think strategically, assess problems, and guide teams toward solutions.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 6 years of experience in restructuring & turnaround consulting with distressed clients, corporate financial restructuring, or banking crisis management.
High‑level proficiency with financial modeling (13‑week cash flow forecast, integrated 3‑statement financials, financial reporting, operational improvement, overhead analysis, pitchbook preparation).
Experience developing pre‑bankruptcy plans and assisting with Chapter 11 bankruptcy case administration tasks, including statutory reporting requirements.
Ability to lead engagements with strong project and client management skills; strategically assess client problems.
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or equivalent work experience.
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 80%).
Candidates may live anywhere in the contiguous United States.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Certifications such as Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Compensation & Benefits The estimated base salary range for this position is $165,000 – $215,000. This range reflects Huron’s expected pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual salary will vary based on skills, certifications, experience, market conditions and required travel. The role also participates in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program and benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision coverage and wellness programs.
Estimated total compensation, including annual incentive, ranges from $189,750 – $268,750.
