Full‑time, Contract (9‑month duration)
Description EAH is a direct‑to‑consumer provider of specialty automotive, truck, and SUV aftermarket parts, operating under eight DTC banners/brands. With more than 1 million SKUs, EAH serves enthusiasts of German, domestic, Japanese, and Tesla vehicles, as well as professional installers. RCI Off Road—one of EAH’s brands—will start a contract manufacturing program focused on bringing ~200 existing SolidWorks designs into our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the contract buyer to prioritize, implement, and refine SolidWorks designs into metal‑fabrication processes.
Improve manufacturability of pilot parts using Amada lasers, Amada press brakes, Lincoln Electric Automation robotic welders, Vectis Cobot welders, powder coating, and packaging equipment.
Prepare cost estimates for contract parts and analyze actual costs for feasibility across multiple part categories.
Partner with the existing team on specialized tooling, fixtures, and jigs to streamline production and enhance manufacturing effectiveness.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related experience with 3+ years of hands‑on metal fabrication (lasers, press brakes, welding, robotic welders) *or* 10+ years of metal fabrication experience including SolidWorks model editing, press‑brake programming, and use of Amada/SigmaNest.
Ability to collaborate productively with cross‑functional teams and remote buyers through clear communication and timely follow‑up.
Proactive mindset, continuous‑improvement focus, and creative problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in Amada lasers, Amada press brakes, Lincoln Automation robotic welders, and Vectis Cobot welders.
Extensive knowledge of metal‑fabrication processes, including material selection, welding methodologies, fixture design, and quality‑assurance techniques.
