Lead - 1st Shift (Warehouse Operations) – Boxzooka
Location: Middletown, PA.
Position Summary The 1st Shift Lead is responsible for supervising daily inbound and outbound activities, supporting warehouse associates, monitoring workflow, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role works closely with supervisors and managers to ensure all shift goals are met.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of warehouse associates during 1st shift operations
Oversee picking, packing, receiving, replenishment, and order processing
Ensure productivity standards and KPIs are met or exceeded
Assist with training new associates and cross‑training team members
Maintain accurate reporting and documentation within WMS systems
Monitor inventory accuracy and help resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with all safety policies and maintain a clean work area
Communicate operational updates to supervisors and management
Perform hands‑on warehouse tasks as needed to support the shift
Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience required; lead or team‑lead experience preferred
Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to train and motivate a team
Experience with RF scanners and WMS systems (preferred)
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
