Department Business Development

Responsibilities

Field support for BD team members

Reviewing and reporting on KPI’s

Organizing key events

Lead weekly sales team call

Research, analysis and understanding of competitor products, activities, and market share

Actively prospect into ideal target companies identifying the best opportunities

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate virtual and on‑site meetings/presentations

Master Cotton’s capabilities and align them with client needs; attend and represent Cotton at industry events and trade exhibitions

Generate new leads, research potential clients and their requirements that will develop into opportunity closure

Keep an open line of communication and constant networking with client or sales marketing team

Utilize all marketing tools to promote and increase revenue; create engaging presentations

Communicate and ensure “Cotton” is always presented with integrity

Maintain strong customer relationship; ensure customer loyalty through excellent customer service

Qualifications

7-15 years proven sales and account management experience

Experience in Temporary Office Rental, Environmental clean‑up or Culinary sales (Business Dining, Corporation Catering, Emergency Response, Event Planning, etc.) preferred

Experienced cold calling, creating, and following leads

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

Strong work ethic, resilience, grit and drive

Proficient user of MS Office, ERP and CRM systems

TWIC Card

Passport preferred

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Marketing/Business or related field

Skills

Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally as business need requires

Ability to communicate effectively face to face, telephone and via video telecommunications

Must be able to drive a vehicle and maintain a good driving record

Strong presentation and negotiation skills
