Overview AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting data centers and all associated servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. As a Logistics Specialist you will monitor inventory levels, receive parts, verify inventory, and manage chain‑of‑custody processes for Data Center Technicians and Engineers. You will load and unload shipments and transport parts between locations, driving motorized vehicles—including box trucks up to 26 feet. You must maintain precise records, keep workspaces clean and safe, and obtain the required Driver Qualification File (DQF) and DOT physical. The role includes regular lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials, and it requires staying in a warehouse environment with high noise levels and possibly cold or hot weather.
Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels to support build and repair activities in data centers.
Receive parts, verify inventory, and manage chain‑of‑custody for Data Center Technicians and Engineers.
Load and unload shipments and transport parts between locations, driving up to 26‑ft box trucks.
Maintain accurate records of all commodities entering and leaving the company.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of all workspaces.
Drive a variety of motorized vehicles, obtain and maintain the mandated DQF, MVR check, and DOT physical.
Physical / Environmental Demands
Requires standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods.
Works primarily in a warehouse environment where noise is loud; occasionally in an office environment with lower noise.
Occasionally assists in loading and unloading shipments.
Occasionally exposed to cold or hot weather.
Must lift loads up to 49 pounds and participate in group lifts of 50 pounds or more.
Work Environment
Work with moving mechanical parts.
Noise level varies and can be loud.
Temperatures range from 40 to 90 degrees, occasionally exceeding 90 degrees.

Basic Qualifications
1+ year of logistics experience.
1+ year of material forecasting experience.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Experience leading process improvements.
Experience using a computerized Inventory Management System (IMS).
Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.

Compensation The base pay for this position ranges from $52,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,400/year in our highest geographic market. Compensation may vary depending on location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional forms of compensation such as equity, sign‑on payments, and benefits may apply.
