High end activewear company seeking a new Wholesale Manager in LA!! Must have all of the below requirements to be considered

The Wholesale Manager will build this channel from the ground up: strategy, pricing, processes, and most importantly, relationships with retail partners. This person will help us expand into prospects like Selfridges, Saks, Neiman Marcus, Ssense, Bloomingdales, Net-a-Porter, and even explore cruise ship partnerships, spas, hotel chains, etc.

Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Location Los Angeles, CA

Responsibilities

Build wholesale strategy and roadmap, aligned with overall brand and business goals.

Define program structures, pricing models, order minimums, margin expectations, and distribution guidelines.

Develop wholesale-specific policies, playbooks, and account management processes.

Business Development & Partnerships

Identify, pitch, and secure partnerships with retailers (from specialty boutiques to major accounts).

Own relationship management, from initial outreach to ongoing partnership growth.

Negotiate terms, contracts, and promotional opportunities to maximize profitability and brand alignment.

Operational Excellence

Collaborate with planning, production, and logistics to ensure seamless order fulfillment and inventory management.

Oversee wholesale order processes, timelines, and account communication.

Build reporting tools to track wholesale sales, profitability, and partner performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with brand, marketing, and product teams to align wholesale initiatives with product launches and campaigns.

Ensure wholesale strategy supports—and never dilutes—our DTC-first brand experience.

Qualifications

5+ years of wholesale, sales, or distribution experience in apparel, lifestyle, or consumer brands.

Proven track record of building and scaling wholesale programs, ideally from early stage.

Strong network and established relationships with key retail buyers is a plus.

Deep understanding of wholesale pricing structures, retail math, and margins.

Entrepreneurial mindset—able to build systems and processes from scratch while executing day-to-day.

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

Highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
