Job Summary Leads the customer-facing operations for a unit serving every student, employee, patient and visitor to the Augusta University campus; manages the monthly and daily parking permit process, coordinating access for approximately 10,000 vehicles per day and responsible for $2.7 million in annual revenue.
Responsibilities
Supervision
Supervise multiple positions within the department, including professional and student staff; tasks include scheduling personnel, training personnel, providing performance feedback and applying disciplinary actions when required.
Systems and Permitting
Serve as the department administrator for the AIMS/EDC Parking Management System; coordinate permit registration and facility access for over 20,000 vehicles; manage all transient parking operations and corresponding validation processes.
Revenue and Reporting
Track revenue for over $2.7 million in generated income annually; reconcile and review daily point-of-sale activity, collect and deposit daily revenue; coordinate payroll deduction process for employee permit holders; answer audit requests and prepare balance sheets for fund accountability.
Appeals and Policy
Lead the parking appeal process, providing resolution of appeals for citations assigned for parking violations; assign administrative holds to student accounts; provide input regarding university parking guidelines for students, employees, patients, and visitors.
Customer Service
Coordinate department customer service responses including all email, phone or web inquiries; design, author, and implement training guidelines for all customer service team.
Other Duties
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with two years of directly related experience
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with five years of directly related experience
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a parking operation with knowledge of current systems, equipment and processes
Prior customer service experience
Prior leadership or supervisory experience
Demonstrated problem-solving ability

Skills Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills; experience in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases; attention to detail.
Shift, Salary & Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (work outside the normal business hours will likely be required of an employee in an exempt level position)
Pay Band: 11
Salary: Minimum $56,600.00/Annually - $59,788.51/Annually
Recruitment Period: 10/30/25 - Until Filled
Benefits may include health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, Teachers Retirement System (or Optional Retirement Plan), earned vacation time, sick leave and 13 paid holidays. Full-time employees with more than 6 months may be considered for the Tuition Assistance Program.
Conditions of Employment

Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle.
For Faculty Hires: Final candidates will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s). Those candidates trained by a foreign institution will also be required to provide an educational/credential evaluation.
