Join us for a full‑time, part‑time Per Diem General Anesthesiologist role at UMC, a leading academic medical center in Southern Nevada, home to Nevada’s only Level I Trauma Center and other specialty centers.
Position Summary Responsibilities include administering and managing anesthesia before, during, and after surgery; evaluating patients and their medical history prior to surgery; and prescribing medications.

Qualifications
M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
Completed Anesthesiology Residency from an accredited institution
Three (3) years of clinical practice in anesthesiology
Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology
Valid Nevada medical license
State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to prescribe medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration certificate
Additional certifications (preferred or required): Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Board Certified in Anesthesiology; fellowship or board certification in Pediatrics preferred but not required
Knowledge, Skills, & Physical Requirements
Knowledge of adult and pediatric care, equipment, supplies, regulations, and safety practices
Skills in delivering effective medical care, quality improvement, leadership, decision‑making under stress, and communication across diverse backgrounds
Physical: Mobility to stand long periods, stamina, vision, hearing, speech, and ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force
