Job Summary
HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is seeking talented Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team in Live Oak, Florida as a Nocturnist working within the associated HCA Florida Suwanee Free‑standing Emergency Room.
Qualified Candidates
Annual ED volume of 60,000; 17% admission rate, 15% pediatrics, 9% average critical care rate
Newly renovated 22‑bed ED
44 hour physician coverage (10‑hour and 12‑hour shifts)
20 hours APP coverage
Independent contractor status
Must be board certified/board eligible EM or board‑eligible FM or IM with EM experience
Work alongside skilled specialists, including critical care intensivists, gastroenterologists, interventional cardiologists, and nephrologists

Lake City Hospital is part of HCA Healthcare North Florida division and offers 24/7 medical and surgical programs, emergency care, cardiology, oncology, nephrology, hospitalist services, tele‑neurology, tele‑psychiatry, and tele‑intensivist. This facility is an Accredited Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology, and holds disease‑specific certification in the treatment of sepsis by the Joint Commission.
