Shift Manager (SM)
Basic Purpose
Shift Managers take accountability for restaurant operations while on duty. They motivate team members to deliver 5-star customer service and tackle problems as they arise.
Major Responsibilities
Customer Service
– Provide 5-star service to all customers and prioritize satisfaction.
Team Leadership
– Coach, motivate, and verify timely completion of duties and professional appearance.
Team Development
– Train and develop individuals for leadership roles, providing constructive feedback.
Operations Leadership
– Serve as the Manager-in-Charge (MIC) and ensure consistent adherence to company policies.
Profit & Loss Management
– Assist upper leadership in achieving financial goals.
Communication
– Keep upper leadership informed about issues at the restaurant.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred 6 months to 1 year of restaurant experience with proven leadership across all shifts.
Must maintain a current Health Card per state or local requirements.
Basic math and reading proficiency.
Must read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Must pass SERVSAFE Certification Course and Exam.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk continuously during scheduled shifts, lift up to 50 pounds, perform motions involving walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching and repetitive motions.
