The business runs nationwide with a fleet of 50+ Kenworth prime movers and more than 130 trailers, including flat tops, skels, side lifters and tautliners across semi, B‑double and road train combinations.

The Opportunity – Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic Bondwoods Transport is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join the workshop team at their new Park Ridge depot.
This is a full‑time, permanent position offering competitive pay, overtime penalties and the chance to work with some of the best gear on the road. If you enjoy a positive workshop atmosphere and take pride in your workmanship, this role is for you.

About the Role Full‑time, permanent role based in Park Ridge, QLD
Monday to Friday + every second Saturday
Maintain, service and repair a large heavy vehicle fleet
Diagnose faults, engine issues and breakdowns
Perform heavy‑duty engine diagnostics and repairs
Work autonomously with strong attention to detail
Light vehicle maintenance when required
Minimum 3 years post‑trade experience
Strong diagnostic ability with CAT, Cummins & Detroit engines (highly regarded)
Knowledge of Kenworth trucks is essential
Proven experience in the heavy diesel industry
Committed to safety and quality procedures
Current QLD HR licence (HC preferred)
LF forklift licence an advantage
