Position Title Quality Assurance Coordinator – Liquids
Reporting Reports to: Quality Manager
Business & Department ABF Quality
Position Purpose / Summary The Quality Coordinator supports all activities in quality assurance and quality control. The primary responsibilities include approving and recording results for incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products, while ensuring compliance with company and GMP standards.
Position Responsibilities
Coordinate activities assigned by the Quality Manager, including label assignment, issuance of QMRs, and COC support for the QC department.
Manage shift‑level quality tasks such as inspecting lines and labels, correcting write‑ups, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
Review daily production schedules to anticipate changes and react to line shifts to meet quality review and reporting needs.
Uphold GMP processes and audit requirements.
Collaborate with other department coordinators to maintain quality standards throughout product development.
Coordinate incoming label inspections following client protocols.
Assist the Quality Lab with incoming chemical testing and batch approvals.
Verify plant floor documentation and production line activity compliance.
Perform first‑piece, torque checks, and line inspections per write‑ups, documenting results.
Communicate quality issues, determine QA holds, and advise relevant personnel.
Identify, contain, and dispose of nonconforming material.
Issue QMRs for supplier‑related issues.
Enter, transcribe, record, and store quality information electronically and in writing.
Recommend solutions through designated channels and verify implementation.
Maintain calibrated QC equipment, including pH meters, scales, and thermometers.
Research and gather data for special studies.
Train and supervise Quality Control Technicians.
Coordinate QA staffing assignments and ensure timely production line supervision.
Resolve client issues and advise management as needed.
Demonstrate proactive actions to avoid quality concerns.
Follow emergency evacuation guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
Create inspection plans based on customer specifications.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely, accurate, and maintained documentation.
Consistent achievement of job activities and quality protocols.
Daily attention to the QA team, meeting labor demands and quality standards; proactively address team member issues for the Quality Manager.

Qualifications Education
High School or GED equivalent
Experience
At least 2 years in a manufacturing environment; preferred manufacturing experience.
Strong mathematical ability required.
Organize workflow and maintain organized output.
Attention to detail, data integrity, timeliness, and accuracy.
Manage multiple tasks, inquiries, and work expectations in a dynamic setting.
Problem‑solve to identify, define, and offer solutions.
Self‑directed initiative expected.
