General Environmental and Employee Health & Safety professional who will create and implement programs that prevent injuries and illnesses, inspect incidents, ensure compliance, develop training plans, and maintain community relationships. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Direct and guide the work of others, mobilizing resources. • Manage two or more direct reports and oversee operational/financial results. • Handle people‑management actions: hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees. • Lead one or more sections or a small department, adapting plans to meet short‑term challenges. • Analyze situations or data, solve problems, and act as an advisor to subordinates. • Interpret and administer policies and procedures, develop schedules, and manage budgets if applicable. • Interact frequently with internal and external representatives and present at meetings. • Perform safe quality food responsibilities: follow plant rules, report unsafe conditions, participate in SQF root‑cause and corrective actions, and ensure compliance with SQF procedures. Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience (in lieu of a degree). • Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The company reserves the right to change or assign other duties. Key Competencies
