Wraparound Supervisor
Koinonia Family Services is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a full‑time Wraparound Supervisor for our Post‑Adoption Wraparound Program in the Kern County area. The Wraparound Supervisor supports families who have adopted children/youth out of the foster care system and are experiencing challenges with the child’s/youth’s behavior and mental health. The Wraparound Supervisor oversees the post‑adoption wraparound process, including initiating engagement, forming teams, developing safety and care plans using a strength‑based approach, and supervising staff to ensure high‑fidelity wraparound practices. This role emphasizes wraparound values, interpersonal skills, an understanding of public service systems, team collaboration, cultural sensitivity, and providing direct support aligned with wraparound plans.

Key Responsibilities
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff delivering post‑adoption wraparound services
Provide high‑fidelity wraparound training, routine coaching, supervision, and field observation with feedback
Facilitate team meetings to coordinate care, celebrate successes, and address barriers
Assist staff in navigating public systems (child welfare, behavioral health, probation, education)
Serve as a consultant to staff and Child and Family Teams (CFTs) to support effective problem‑solving
Ensure compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements
Manage scheduling, productivity, and administrative functionsImplement retention strategies to support staff satisfaction and performance
Qualifications
BA or MA in a behavioral science field or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
2+ years of experience working with high‑risk youth and families in child welfare, behavioral health or related fields
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Commitment to culturally competent care and ethical practices
Experience navigating public service systems and providing trauma‑informed support
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Wraparound Supervisors are responsible for tasks such as visiting client homes, transporting youth, engaging with community partners, often in locations not easily accessible by alternative transportation methods. The nature of these responsibilities necessitates the ability to drive to ensure timely, reliable, confidential and effective support for the youth and families we serve.
