Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager 2 to support the Sentinel program. Location: Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL. The role involves collaborating with a campaign team of capture professionals, business development professionals and industry partners to support long-range strategy commitments. This role may offer relocation assistance. What You’ll Get To Do Identify and implement business development projects relating to new products and/or industries, technologies, or services. Identify markets, licensing opportunities, and determine the feasibility of product development. Perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and coordinate with internal departments to implement projects. Work with sales, marketing and potential customers to determine their needs. Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of project goals and objectives. Support activities to mature technological capabilities and develop prototype designs within a team. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience across disciplines such as business development, strategy, contract management, supply chain project management, procurement, and/or related fields; or Master’s Degree with 4 years of experience; or additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree Current active DoD Top Secret Clearance / eligible to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) read-ins 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule 3 years working with modern military weapon systems and demonstrating a technical understanding to meet customer needs Experience working with government customers and maintaining long-standing relationships AND Experience In One Or More Of The Following Design, development, and/or integration of strategic systems and subsystems Integrated hardware/software verification & validation Integration of actuation system into overall vehicle system Understanding of architecture design, specification development, requirements definition, and functional modeling Experience across multiple NG business groups to understand technology and product portfolios Nice To Have Experience with Program Executive Offices / Acquisition elements (OSD/SCO, USAF RCO, USN Strategic Systems Program, STRATCOM, AFRL, DARPA, Space Force, MDA, MPO) Experience with Program/Project Managers and Engineering Managers to learn the technical side of theater-based delivery systems or multi-domain IAMD systems Experience developing and implementing customer engagement plans Knowledge of program management and acquisition strategies for theater-based delivered systems or multi-domain IAMD systems Active TS/SCI with SAP access 5+ years of business development or program execution experience with a STEM degree Ability to adapt to change, strong problem solving and communication skills Compensation Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $203,600.00. Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, including scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply. Some roles may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays and PTO.
