Our Restaurant / Entertainment Managers assist the General Manager with all aspects of the center and its management. In the General Manager’s absence, they hold down the fort, responsible for all center and floor management, from entertainment to Food & Beverage to the property and its equipment. Amid all day‑to‑day duties, they maintain an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction and dedication to developing the hourly staff. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Be a champion for our guests, consistently delivering exceptional service, soliciting valuable feedback, and actively addressing and resolving guest complaints.
Continually hone operational execution; schedule staffing levels to meet the center’s needs and maximize the guest experience.
Capitalize on all business opportunities in your market area by executing our marketing strategies to drive sales (leagues, open play bowling, etc.).
Develop and maintain a good relationship with league bowlers and officers to grow our league business; adhere to league formats, distribute league announcements, and perform other league administrative duties.
Recruit, hire, train, and schedule a talented team of hourly center staff.
Lead the team and influence them through effective motivation; leverage individual strengths to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize center productivity; delegate effectively.
Oversee the management and expansion of the center’s Food & Beverage program, ensuring the highest quality standards and exceptional guest satisfaction. Provide ongoing training and supervision to ensure consistent execution of corporate initiatives and standards, fostering a thriving sales culture.
Remain flexible. Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays as needed by your center.
Who You Are As a committed member of our team, you’re ready to fill in for the center’s General Manager as needed. Your guest service sensibility is strong alongside interpersonal and communication skills. You’re flexible enough to support extended workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays. You’re a dedicated team player skilled at developing the talents of your team and are looking to ultimately take the next step toward becoming a General Manager.
DESIRED SKILLS
2+ years of Management Experience in kitchen, bar, restaurant, and food service operations.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Strong ability to supervise center operations staff.
Strong Team Player.
Exceptional “People Developer.”
Customer Service Pro.
Knowledge of POS register systems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Typical entertainment environment. You will walk, bend, stand for periods of time, and may lift objects with some assistance.
