Job Description Position Overview The Entry-Level Business Development Representative supports our expansion into new markets and helps build long-term relationships with clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a full Business Development or Capture Manager role in the government contracting and construction industry. You will work directly with senior leadership to identify opportunities, engage potential clients, assist with proposals, and support the development of a strong project pipeline. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Outreach Identify new opportunities with federal agencies, primes, general contractors, and private developers. Conduct outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to introduce our services. Attend networking events, industry days, and trade shows as needed. Proposal & Capture Support Assist in researching government opportunities on SAM.gov, USASpending, GovWin, and agency portals. Support proposal preparation: collecting documents, formatting, organizing past performance, and tracking deadlines. Maintain CRM tracking for leads, contacts, and opportunity stages. Relationship Development Build rapport with contracting officers, facility managers, and GC partners. Schedule and support introductory meetings and capabilities briefings. Follow up on quotes, proposals, and outreach efforts. Market Research Track competitor activity, industry trends, expiring contracts, and upcoming solicitations. Develop weekly and monthly activity reports to support leadership decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Construction, or related field). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Interested in government contracting, construction, or project-based industries. Self-motivated and eager to learn a high-growth sector. Company Description
