The HT Group is partnering with a reputable law firm to hire a

Legal Operations Project Coordinator . This role reports directly to the COO and supports the operations leadership team, contributing to firmwide operational projects and practice-related initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing moving parts, improving processes, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced professional environment.

Direct Hire | Houston TX 77027 (Onsite) | $60-70k

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and project support from planning through completion - coordinating meetings, maintaining documentation, tracking timelines, and monitoring budgets.

Serve as the main point of communication between attorneys, staff, leadership, and outside vendors to ensure alignment and progress.

Assign and track project tasks, monitor deadlines, and identify risks or roadblocks.

Prepare clear status updates, reports, and summaries for leadership.

Maintain project logs and ensure action items are addressed.

Partner with Technology team to support implementation of legal tech tools, including AI platforms and dashboards.

Analyze data capabilities within firm systems and recommend improvements.

Assist with reporting for Executive Committee and Partner meetings.

Support process, policy, and efficiency improvements across the firm.

Handle special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field.

Prior project coordination or similar experience highly preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Familiarity with data/reporting tools and general business software.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to interpret data and develop clear, useful reports.

Highly organized multitasker who can manage multiple deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new tools quickly.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Positive, adaptable, and team‑oriented mindset.
