What You Will Do as a Senior Tax Accountant
Prepare and review a wide range of tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual returns, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback to ensure quality and adherence to tax regulations.
Conduct tax planning and research to identify opportunities for tax savings and minimize tax liabilities for our clients.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary tax-related information, address inquiries, and provide exceptional client service.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and incorporate any relevant updates into tax strategies.
Assist in the resolution of tax-related issues and inquiries from tax authorities on behalf of our clients.
Contribute to the development and improvement of tax processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and providing proactive tax advice.
Qualifications and Attributes You Will Need
Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably in a public accounting firm.
In-depth knowledge of tax rules and regulations.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA license preferred.
Proficient in tax software and accounting systems, with a strong understanding of technology tools used in tax preparation and research.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex tax scenarios and provide innovative solutions.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate tax concepts to clients and colleagues.
Client-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service and further developing & maintaining long-term client relationships.
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of tax deliverables.
