As a
Dental Group Practice Manager
for Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals (COP), you will be responsible for generating engagement in DSO groups with a focus on high growth Mid-Market accounts. You will leverage your sales expertise to build strong relationships with these customers, boosting net sales, enhancing product mix, and growing overall consumption of Colgate products.
Note: This is a remote role; candidates located in
Seattle, WA; Portland, OR; or San Francisco, CA
metro-areas are preferred. Candidate must be located in the Pacific-Northwest.
Responsibilities
Market Mastery:
Dive deep into the dental group practice market, conduct analyses to pinpoint expansion opportunities and understand industry dynamics based on criteria such as size, location, specialty, and growth potential.
Client Segmentation and Relationship Building:
Identify and categorize accounts using strategic criteria to tailor approach, optimize priorities, and enhance potential. Forge meaningful connections with key partners in dental practices and understand their needs to provide exceptional service.
Solutions Crafting and Presentations:
Work with product and marketing teams to develop customized solutions and deliver compelling presentations that communicate value.
Negotiation and Post-Sale Support:
Navigate contract negotiations, ensure mutually beneficial agreements, provide post-sale support, and maintain strong client relationships for long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Maintain regular contact with clients to uncover opportunities and address concerns. Collaborate with Customer Service and Territory Managers to synchronize strategies and optimize field implementation. Evaluate and refine internal processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
Market Insight:
Use a curious attitude to identify trends impacting this business segment and capture new opportunities.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of account management experience, preferably in a B2B capacity and/or dental industry
Willingness to travel to client locations and occasionally visit the corporate office
Valid Driver's License
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with external and internal partners
Preferred Qualifications
Prior sales experience in the dental industry, CPG, or medical devices, ideally with responsibility for large/corporate customers/DSO groups
Knowledge of the competitive healthcare product landscape
Experience working with third-party distributors
Background in B2B, dental hygiene, or dental office settings
Excellent communication, relationship building and presentation skills
Positive relationship-building skills to engage across functions and levels within the organization
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $83,000.00 - $117,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Eligibility for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for executive-level roles may apply.
Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, parental leave, disability coverage, and 401(k) with company matching. Vacation/PTO days and paid holidays; sick leave details vary by role and location.
