Job Description:
As an Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS) Worker, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with mental health challenges regain their independence and achieve their personal goals. You will provide practical skills training and support to clients in their homes and communities, enabling them to develop essential life skills, overcome the impact of mental illness, and cope with the challenges they face.
Responsibilities:
Provide Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services meeting all DHS and Medicaid requirements to an established caseload
Develop therapeutic relationship with patients
Provide clinical interventions under the supervision of a mental health professional.
Teach skills to improve mental health, develop a recovery vision, rehab goals, and objectives with patients
Coordinate services with interpreters, county case managers, family/guardian of client, work personnel, medical personnel, etc.
Participate in professional meetings and trainings
Attend supervision meetings and participate in clinical team discussions regarding clients and services
Maintain client files, updating functional assessments and treatment plans when needed and as qualifications allow, and completing all required documentation as specified in DHS guidelines
Complete accurate case notes in session for each billable unit using the electronic health record system (Procentive)
Develop and maintain positive working relationships within the organization and community
Refer patients to other professionals as needed, with supervisor support
Participate in other agency functions as assigned
Ensure confidentiality of all records and interactions
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, and one of the following qualifications:
have an associate of arts degree;
have two years of full-time postsecondary education or a total of 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in behavioral sciences or related fields;
be a registered nurse;
have, within the previous ten years, three years of personal life experience with mental illness;
have, within the previous ten years, three years of life experience as a primary caregiver to an adult with a mental illness, traumatic brain injury, substance use disorder, or developmental disability;
OR have, within the previous ten years, 2,000 hours of work experience providing health and human services to individuals.
Bachelor’s degree with behavioral sciences coursework is preferred
Experience working with individuals with mental health challenges is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Has the ability to pass background check
Valid driver's license,
Reliable transportation and carry own vehicle insurance,
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client schedules.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
$18 to $26 per hour depending on experience.

Hours:
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Flexible hours between 7am and 8 pm, depending on patient availability.
Schedules are up to 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility
Required availability: Tuesdays 9am to 12pm; and during set supervision times.
Available Employment Type: 1099/ W-2
