Job Description
Leads the architecture and development of public and private cloud solutions, including impacts to enterprise data architecture and delivery of cloud data strategies, that are aligned with business objectives. Implements the migration of platforms to a cloud. Ensures reliability and ensures security requirements are met.
Qualifications Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). (Required)
Minimum Work Experience 10 years: Requires deep functional knowledge with 10 years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. (Required)
Required Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of cloud computing security; DevOps; CI/CD data pipeline tools like Jenkins; Microsoft Azure; Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Knowledge of software design patterns and familiarity with enterprise application architectural styles (Microservice, Broker, Serverless, etc.).
Knowledge of hosting services in a cloud environment with high levels of security along with database technologies with distributed cache management.
Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty.
Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to work independently.
Demonstrated analytical skills.
Demonstrated project management skills.

Functional Accountabilities
Leads the Cloud Data Architects in the deployment of the overall cloud data architecture. Areas of focus include organizational structure, identity and access management, networking, security and ingestion.
Develops standards, frameworks, patterns, and processes to benefit existing stakeholders.
Communicates with key stakeholders, industry experts, and technical peers to understand technology and business requirements, industry trends and the broader data architecture landscape.
Develops and communicates the technical data architecture direction and roadmap for cloud data capabilities.
Maintains a strong understanding of the current cloud data platform and proactively leads the analysis of the technology environment to detect deficiencies, gaps, and opportunities. Leads teams to prioritize, initiate and implement technology efforts aimed at addressing these opportunities.
Translates business and technical requirements into a data architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives.
Provides guidance as it relates to cloud automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Improvement (CI/CD) capabilities.
Ensures compliance of solutions to architectural standards.
Collaborates with security architecture and information security to ensure integrity of solutions and meet enterprise standards and policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
