A Housekeeping Manager is responsible for managing daily Housekeeping operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
What will I be doing? As a Housekeeping Manager, you will manage daily Housekeeping operations to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
Manage daily Housekeeping operations, including maintaining cleanliness and quality standards of guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
Ensure rooms are clean and available to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
Manage systems use and cost controls, overall profitability; handle budgeting, forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement, and participate in meetings.
Assist in monitoring and developing team member performance through supervision, counseling, evaluations, and recognition.
Oversee and conduct room inspections.
Recruit, interview, and train team members.
