About the Position The company is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
with a strong background in mechanical HVAC and plumbing construction.
The Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial and industrial mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a well-rounded technical understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, field personnel, clients, and subcontractors to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of HVAC and plumbing construction projects, from planning through closeout.
Oversee field operations and coordinate with in-house plumbing, engineering, CAD, and fabrication teams.
Track project progress, budgets, schedules, and manpower needs.
Maintain strong client relationships and communicate proactively throughout each project.
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure technical accuracy.
Support procurement, material management, cost forecasting, and change order processes.
Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company and industry standards.
Resolve project issues quickly and effectively to keep work on track.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of Project Management experience with a
commercial mechanical contractor .
Proven experience in mechanical HVAC and plumbing construction.
Technical Expertise:
Broad understanding of mechanical systems, including:
Chillers
Boiler
Cooling towers
Primary and secondary piping
HVAC ductwork
RTUs, AHUs, VAVs
Experience with healthcare, data center, tenant fit-out, light industrial, and process piping projects.
